Fall is upon us and the weather finally agrees. It’s time for football, cozy sweaters, and everything pumpkin!! We want to do ALL of the fall activities so we made a Fall Bucket List to complete between now and Thanksgiving.
We can check Attend a Fall Festival off of the list. Friday night we went to the Country Club Plaza for the Plaza Art Fair. This is a tradition in KC. More than 240 artists come to the festival and show their amazing art. The Plaza Restaurants have booths with great food and drinks and there are always some fun bands. I didn’t take a lot of pictures because most artists don’t appreciate you photographing their work…so just the one partial group shot that we snapped while walking by this fun photo op. Blogger fail-Steph was taking a call and several others were close by, but didn’t make it in. Sorry guys!
Not on the list, but a great event-Harvest a Change-a charity event for Amethyst Place. Amethyst Place is a small organization that helps single women with children get back on their feet after they get out of jail for drug and alcohol charges. Steph couldn’t make it, but Krystal (you’ve seen her around the blog) rounded out the group. We had a fun table with lots of lively conversation.
Kristi got some adorable wine glasses at the silent auction-these will be great for away games! Andrea almost got into a bidding war/had to throw elbows with someone to get a cute centerpiece, but quickly decided to pass and just enjoy the wine. Great call!
Kristi, Steph and I checked off another bucket list item-Tailgate!! We headed to Arrowhead for a fabulous day!
The best way to start a tailgate…bloody marys! Shaken, not stirred!
Bobby and I had a super fun section. One guy in front of us tailgated a little too much and passed out…so the whole section proceeded to play human jenga…and one of his friends put lipstick on him. Don’t worry-he rallied by drinking bbq sauce. #someonesfirsttailgate
We met up with the rest of the crew at the end of the game to celebrate an amazing Chiefs win!
In true fall fashion, the sunset was BEAUTIFUL!
Later in the week we attended a totally 90’s concert with Rob Thomas and Counting Crows. We may or may not have purchased the groupon while drinking wine and doing yoga…Steph opted out of the wine and yoga adventure, so she also was out on the throwback concert. The weather was perfect, so we enjoyed some wine and the outdoor concert…overall a great night!
What’s on your fall bucket list?? This is my favorite season!!
