We missed Friday’s post because we were celebrating Andrea’s birthday! Stopping by for a quick Colorado update. You all know we love Georgetown and have seen how much fun we have there. Steph was out in Colorado for some fun in the mountains and Bobby and I went to celebrate our 10 year dating anniversary. This view from the condo never gets old!
Of course we hit up our usuals…including Guanella Pass Brewery.
Steph stayed in Keystone and we met up for the Bluegrass and Beer festival. It was awesome! Well organized, tons of beers, and great bands. I’ll be honest, we were all a little leery of the plethora of banjos in typical bluegrass, but the bands were awesome and I didn’t hear any banjos!
Since we didn’t get enough beer at the brew fest, we also went to another favorite brewery while we were out there. Broken Compass has the best coconut porter around. Speaking of Porter, we brought our pup, Porter, along.
He’s a big fan of beers…and thinks he’s a lap dog!
We made time for some hiking too. Bobby and I did a few small hikes and then we all went out for a bigger hike and conquered Mt Bierstadt. It is 14,065 feet at the top…one of 58 “14ers” in Colorado. The views at the top are some of the prettiest!!
A well deserved post hike beer…followed by some burgers and chili dogs….yum!
Happy Monday all! Come back Friday for our usually scheduled post…
